After 3 consecutive months of easing, the Pending Home Sales Index jumped 10 percent in October, lending credence to the belief that housing is in recovery.
Nationwide, fewer homes are going under contract to sell.
February’s Pending Home Sales Index rebound breaks a 2-month losing streak, and reverses recent downward momentum in housing.
As expected, the Pending Home Sales shot higher in February, boosted by the federal home buyer tax credit’s April 30 deadline.
